Had a Blast in PARRA!!

You must be wondering what is PARRA all about. Well, its a band, a church, a camp in Kerala. I went for this Parra camp, "ZETEO" being the theme for this year which means "SEEK". And we had Matthew 6:33 as our verse for the whole camp.

Around 15 from my church Powerhouse were all excited to leave to Parra on 17th june. We were talking about the fun we had last year and were expecting much more fun this year. This camp was the first one for me so I was all the more excited.

The next day we were all picked up from the station in Tiruvalla and headed to the campsite on a hillock. It was such a beautiful sight to see God's handiworks. Really Kerala is God's own land!! The atmosphere was welcoming and we were greeted by the Parra team! We were showed to the dorms and then we were set for the sessions.

The sessions were a blessing to all . The focus was on Matthew 6:33 (Seek First the Kingdom of God and His Righteousness and All these things shall be Added unto You). "So Seek First the kingdom of God. This was always said by Sud's (Sudden),Parra pastor!! That really helped me place God first in everything I do which is a great blessing.

It was amazing to worship God in His own Country!! (you know what I mean ;) Apart from the sessions, the outdoor and indoor games definitely needs a mention. It was great to see everyone so muddy and wet after the games (good I didnt play as I am not fit too). Anyways I enjoyed watching it so how much will the participants feel!

And how can I forget the Rock gospel concerts. We had Steeve Vatz, Beneath the Blood and A2J play! We were all head banging right in front of the stage. Thank God our heads are still in place..lolz!!! Our favorite number "Dancing on the head of the serpent" set us on foot to Rock for Jesus!

I didnt have the heart to leave the camp at all. It was the most memorable camp I've been to. ZETEO (Seek) first the Kingdom of God and all will be added unto you! PARRA Rocks!! Way to go guys...Am sure God's using you all greatly for His glory! Waiting for next year already!

Stop the Torture!!

Its surprising to see how people torture animals. After all they are created by God like us!!
Yesterday, I had to take my doggy DJ to his vet, and my mom and I took an auto. The auto guy was so rude to us because he had to take DJ in his auto, and he demanded more money and used certain words which was hurting.He didnt even consider DJ as another being. That really irritated me. This was just one incident, but there are plenty more.

Killing of stray dogs (thank God its no more a rule,they are left once sterilised, but is it still true) in my college MCC was a heartaching incident. Gypsies are hired to shoot these poor, innocent, lovable beings down. How can people get so inhuman?? Why cant they sterilise it n leave it??

Another day, I saw a monkey in my college campus (as it is a forest),and someone had wound a piece of barbed wire around its tail. The poor creature was running in pain and agony and was bleeding because its skin was peeling off. I could'nt take that incident off my mind. Who would have done such a cruel act? Imagine if someone does the same around you leg or ur hands? How much pain will u be in? Its only because these animals cant talk or they are lower to you, you do this??
These questions are to be answered for sure......

These are jus few examples which made me think but there are milloins of the same incidents..

Please Help save animals because they are a part of you!!
They too are Precious in God's eyes because He created them....
So stop torturing those poor creatures!! And Let them live!

I am perfectly alright!

I am so excited because I am perfectly healed and its been proved by the scan I took yesterday and also what the doctor said! PRAISE GOD..... HE's been so gracious and loving. A God who will do what He says because He kept promising that He has healed me already and that is so true!! I'm so so happy.

My 2nd Life!! A new beginning

How can I not talk about what God's done in my life!! Well, I am alive now only by God's grace... Let me explain...
Feb 27th, I was hit by a Scorpio (car) while walking on the road. I was admtted in the hospital and I was unconscious not knowing what had happened to me. I was scanned throughout and I had my shouder bone fractured and my lower lip was cut too but the worse part was I had an internal injury. My pancreas was injured so I was kept under observation. I was on I.V for many weeks, lost like 15kgs and my doctor Deepak Kabir stated "that ur injury was 100% fatal but only your God saved you!! ".... I was shaken on hearing tat and was so grateful to God for giving me back my life. And I believe God has a purpose in my life!
When I was in the hospital for more than 4 weeks, I used to wonder why am I suffering so much. But I later realised that it was my time with God n I got to reconcile with Him, confessing all my sins and pleading for forgiveness.. And my God Jesus was ready to accept all my faults, forgave me a dreadful sinner and gave me life. I had to undergo an operation and the post operative period was dreadful cause I was in pain but God gave me the strength to go through all that.
Now after 3 months I am perfectly alrite by His Grace, and I believe I am a living testimony for what God's done in my life.

A perfect day for a perfect day out!!!

But here I am sitting at work and am looking out of my window. The skies are grey n cloudy, the wind is nice n chilly, the trees sway gently and the birds chirp sweetly....Wow!! what a day...
I cant believe I am in the middle of summer. My only wish is I want to go out for a picnic or something...rather than working..Let me see..atleast I can imagine a picnic!!
I am going for a long drive to ECR,. with a couple of my friends. We come to this beautiful clearing where we could see the beach..surrounded by casurina trees! We park the car and start walking to the beach..The wind is hitting gently on our faces, and we all enjoy it! We sit on the shore watching the waves hit the shore...The scene is so beautiful that I run to play in the water... My friends joined me too n we play like kids... Fully soaked and salty we come out and lie all exhausted on the shore,..looking up at the skies, a drop of rain falls on me, Whoa!!!! It starts to drizzle... n we start running towards the grove and it starts raining heavily!
All excited, I look out of my window... all is still, the trees,no birds flying........ and NO RAIN as yet!! As said earlier I can just imagine...
