Its surprising to see how people torture animals. After all they are created by God like us!!
Yesterday, I had to take my doggy DJ to his vet, and my mom and I took an auto. The auto guy was so rude to us because he had to take DJ in his auto, and he demanded more money and used certain words which was hurting.He didnt even consider DJ as another being. That really irritated me. This was just one incident, but there are plenty more.
Killing of stray dogs (thank God its no more a rule,they are left once sterilised, but is it still true) in my college MCC was a heartaching incident. Gypsies are hired to shoot these poor, innocent, lovable beings down. How can people get so inhuman?? Why cant they sterilise it n leave it??
Another day, I saw a monkey in my college campus (as it is a forest),and someone had wound a piece of barbed wire around its tail. The poor creature was running in pain and agony and was bleeding because its skin was peeling off. I could'nt take that incident off my mind. Who would have done such a cruel act? Imagine if someone does the same around you leg or ur hands? How much pain will u be in? Its only because these animals cant talk or they are lower to you, you do this??
These questions are to be answered for sure......
These are jus few examples which made me think but there are milloins of the same incidents..
Please Help save animals because they are a part of you!!

i really don't understand people's inhumanity when it comes to animals. they are beautiful creatures that don't have a conscience which makes them 100% innocent. animals are the ONLY earthly beings that give love UNCONDITIONALLY. and it really bothers me how people ill treat them. i HONESTLY prefer animals over humans, ANY day!
there are even people who buy puppies cuz they're "small and cute", but once the puppy grows into a dog, it's not "cute" anymore, so since they're "stuck" with the animal, they just tie it up outdoors(in CHENNAI heat- covered in LAYERS of FUR!!!) and feed it nothing but plain tasteless rice and tap water.
i once knew this person who said "i like puppies but i hate dogs", oh? SHEESH! thats like saying "i like babies but i don't like adults". how STUPID!
it's all just so sad, and leaves tears in my eyes whenever i think about it.
Thats really sad Amanda..I only wish these people put themselves in the poor animal's position.. maybe that'll give them better sense!

Thats sad!! You tend to get so attached to animals. I used to hate cats before but my mom started feeding some stray cats which comes to my house (around 7 cats, I guess)and they are extremely adorable esp.,Peppermint, the cat which we have adopted. She looks like a Persian cat, fully white with fluffy tail. I'm getting so attached to these loveable ones. I cant think of loosing any of them!

I want mention about my parrot Henrieta also know as polly who died 2 years back. She was my 1st ever pet I had. She is more than a pet, she's a part of my family! I love u polly ma...Miss you too..You're always in my heart!

It's enough to go to some of our zoos or circuses to see the extent of animal torture...and not to mention the dolphins they killed off at the dolphin city. Why do they even allow untrained and barbaric people to work in zoos and all, I don't know.
interesting post - i've always found it helpful to take my dogs (i had many) for walks to introduce them to the auto drivers, they (the auto drivers) fear the unknown - i have many stories of auto drivers who moved from total fear to totally loving my dogs, one even wanted to adopt them and the first time he saw them he was scared out of his pants.

I am not aware of me mentioning about The Bible punishing those who ill treat animals. I am talking on a mere humanity basis. When God shows His care for the animals he created by feeding the birds of the air, how much more are we to respect these creatures too. Atleast people can be more considerate!
